In this guide, we describe how to set up a fundraiser using the Fundraising add-on for Pronamic Pay. This add-on plugin is available for Pro and Developer licenses.
Setting up a fundraising campaign

A step-by-step guide to adding the Fundraising add-on blocks.
- Create a new page in WordPress
Add a new page in the WordPress admin using the “Pages” menu item. Enter a title and write a general introduction about your fundraiser.
- Add a payment form
Use the “+” button to add a payment form to the page created with one of the supported plugins. At the bottom of this manual, you’ll find an overview of the plugins that support the Fundraising add-on blocks.
You won’t need to link the form to a fundraising block separately; its progress will be updated automatically as soon as a successful payment is made via Pronamic Pay from this page. - Add a fundraising progress block
Use the “+” button to browse and add Fundraising add-on blocks. Three blocks are available, each with its own progress display: pie chart, progress bar, or text only. Add one of these blocks to the page to display the fundraising progress on the page.
- Customize the text, amounts, and block color.
The text, amounts, and accent color of the block can be customized. Click on the block to edit the text and amounts. The fundraising goal can also be set this way.
In the block settings (in the sidebar), you can change the color of the progress circle/bar in addition to the amounts (there are three standard colors, and you can choose any color by clicking on the large colored field).
Is the fundraiser already running and have donations been received? The number of contributions to date and the amount raised can also be updated this way. If donations come in later through other channels, the progress can also be updated manually. The percentage is always calculated automatically based on the amounts entered. - Publish the page
Publish the page and your fundraising campaign is ready to launch!

Our fundraising blocks can be used in conjunction with various plugins. For example, you can set up a campaign, fundraiser, or crowdfunding campaign with one of the following plugins:

- Ninja Forms
- Charitable
- Give
- Build-in payment forms for Pronamic Pay
Display progress on another page
The instructions above assume the payment form and fundraising progress blocks are displayed on the same page. It’s also possible to display progress on another page (for example, an overview page showing progress for multiple goals). To do this, click the button with the three vertical dots and then select “Create reusable block.” Give the reusable block a name, which you can search for when adding a block to another page. Upon successful payment, the progress will now be updated in the reusable block on all pages. Please note that the reusable block must remain active on the page where the payment form is located.
