Process payments with Paid Memberships Pro

WordPress has a large number of plugins aimed at offering memberships and Paid Memberships Pro is one of them. This plugin transforms your website into a platform with protected pages that are only available to members. The plugin can be downloaded for free in the repository from WordPress, but also has a paid version.

Based on different membership levels, Paid Memberships Pro allows you to give members access to specific pages and posts. For example, you can offer a 'Bronze', 'Silver' and 'Gold' membership, which correspond to the amount of content a member will see. The more the visitor is willing to pay, the more access he gets to the content of your website.

With the paid version, some interesting features are added to the plugin. For example, you can set up recurring payments and offer members a trial period. In addition, the plugin can be expanded with various add-ons, including integration with WooCommerce.

Payment options for Paid Memberships Pro

A major advantage of Paid Memberships Pro is the ability to make payments. This feature comes standard in the plugin, as well as support for six different payment providers. These six providers include Stripe and PayPal. This makes it possible to make payments with, for example, credit card, iDeal or Bancontact.

There is currently no link between Pronamic Pay and Paid Memberships Pro. In the future, however, we could make this integration possible. To stay informed of the developments, please contact us.
