Step-by-step guide on how to connect PayPal with the Pronamic Pay plugin.
After installing you are able to create a PayPal configuration.
Navigate to Pay » Configurations and create a new configuration. Give your configuration a title like “PayPal – [username]”
Select ‘PayPal’ from the ‘Payment provider’ dropdown list.
By default the Test mode is selected. In order to fully test your configuration we recommend to first keep this test mode activated.
Add your email address which you use for your PayPal account and publish your configuration.
After publishing your PayPal configuration you see a 'test' metabox. Fill in an amount and hit Test. If your configuration is setup correct you will be redirected to the payment process of PayPal.
Change the 'Test' mode to 'Live' and update your configuration.
The configuration is well arranged. Now you can link it to your ecommerce WordPress plugin like WooCommerce.
