Pronamic recently released version 3.6.0 of the Pronamic iDEAL plug-in launched. In this version, support for the Easy Digital Downloads plugin improved. This makes it possible to offer other payment methods in addition to iDEAL. Website administrators can now also manage the payment method and checkout label themselves.
A large number of iDEAL payment providers also offer other payment methods in addition to the iDEAL payment method. In addition to iDEAL, many payment providers also offer the Bancontact/Mister Cash, MiniTix, SOFORT Banking and credit card payment methods. Easy Digital Downloads users can now also activate these payment methods with the Pronamic iDEAL plugin.
The different payment methods can be activated on the Easy Digital Downloads “Payment Gateways” settings tab. The checkout label can also be adjusted per payment method to your own taste. For example, the longer name “Bancontact/Mister Cash” can be changed to “Mister Cash”. Currently this is available for Buckaroo, ICEPAY, Molly, Ogone/Ingenico and Rabobank OmniKassa users.
In addition, the transaction ID of the payment is now shown on the order detail page. This makes it easier to find the transaction ID of a specific Easy Digital Downloads order. This can be especially useful for orders where the status is not automatically updated and the payment status must be checked manually.
We hope this will make it even easier for Easy Digital Downloads users to sell their downloads. By offering multiple payment methods, the visitor can choose his or her favorite.
